Staging Layout; More detailed
I have done this piece from looking at both photos of verona and the layout i have already done on the computer. This shows what the actual look of the fixed staging would be rather than just its placing. I am really happy with the result.

Casa di Giulietta
A big tourist destination in Verona, said to be where the Capulet family lived. Although this has been said there is not actually any proof that the family ever lived there and if they did there is not proof that a young girl named Juliet existed. It wasn't until 1905 that the city bought the overgrown garden and created this sort of museum, rumour has it this was once actually a whore house.
These are just two of the images from inside the house. Even though the whole story round this building may be fictional I think its helpful to look at these to give me an idea of what to put into the video projection design.

Stage design; Romeo and Juilet
I have looked at the different layout of staging and already existing ones that have been used in the performance of Romeo and Juliet. I first did some sketches and then transferred some onto the computer so that they had a cleaner finish to them.
These are the first two that I transferred onto the computer, I preferred the bottom one so worked on it to get what I think will be the basics of my final stage design. This image shows the skeleton of my final look for the stage.

Cart Macabre; Living structures
Cart Macabre is a nightmare fairground ride through a dreamlike landscape. It’s a restless exploration of isolation and disorientation, an act of faith on the part of the audience. In total darkness, 32 people are shepherded into eight wooden carts and moved through a succession of theatrical environments. The carts – their smell, their sounds, the sensation of their movement – become an inseparable part of a multi-sensory experience.
Paper wig; Finished
I have eventually finished the paper wig which I started well before christmas. I just need tophotograph it properly so that I can use it as part of my portfolio.

Wool structure; Session 3
I think that this is the last session I am going to focus on doing this piece as its not totally relevant to where I am going with my ideas. Ive managed to get the piece off the box and mannequin but found the bottom wasnt structured enough to hold its own weight. Ive put it back on the box and added further wool to the skirt which willf hopefully mean it keeps its shape when I take it off next.
